Chen Du was a PhD Candidate in the Molecular and Cellular Biophysics and Biochemistry PhD Program at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2002. She has a Master’s Degree in Biophysics from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master’s Degree in Radio Physics with the concentration of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2005, Chen Du was honored by being included in the list of Leading Scientists of the World 2005 by the International Biographical Centre of Cambridge.

Generally speaking, Chen Du has schooled for 22 years and 10 months and engaged in nearly seven years of graduate studies including three years and eight months of PhD training in Biophysics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the State University of New York at Buffalo. She published three English papers including two first authored papers in the field of NMR at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is also the inventor to a Chinese patent.

Chen Du is a translator, a voting member of the American Translators Association and a member of Translators Association of China, The American Literary Translators Association and Poetry Society of America. She has also served as Deputy Secretary General and Executive Council Member of Shaanxi Translation Association since summer 2013. She has worked as a professional in the translation field and English application essay editing field since 2004. She excelled in the Interpreting and Translation Studies Master’s Program at Wake Forest University in fall 2016. She revised the most part of the Chinese translation of the biography of Helen Snow, Helen Foster Snow – An American Woman in Revolutionary China, which has been published in China.
